Caméléon, ma souplesse : j’observe l’ensemble des énergies en présence dans un projet et au sein d’une équipe, pour mieux appréhender les forces et les marges de progression au sein desquelles il faudra évoluer en confiance et avec aisance.
Rigueur : tendance à être très carrée, à suivre les plans et directives tracés, par une capacité à voir venir les étapes et aménager les plannings de travail au plus juste.
Champ de vision : avoir été journaliste avant d’être attachée de presse me permet de proposer des angles éditoriaux et d’anticiper les attentes et contraintes des médias.

Chameleon, my flexibility: I observe all the energies present in a project and within a team, to better understand the strengths and areas for progress within which we need to move with confidence and ease.

Field of vision: having been a journalist before becoming a press officer enables me to propose editorial angles and anticipate the expectations and constraints of the media.

Keeping up to date: constantly monitoring the ecosystems in which I work and the new principles of reality that we have to face up to, reactive and seasoned in crisis communication.

Après des études d’histoire de l’art et de lettres et civilisation anglophones, Lara Orsal est journaliste et reporter-photographe musique et culture une dizaine d’années (FemmeOnline, Nightlife, Rockmag, Rocksound, Rolling Stone, Rock & Folk, Velvet, Muze, Redux, Rock One, Rock You, Rock Touch, chroniques musique de Voici, Gonzaï, Roadie Magazine).

En 2002, elle fonde parallèlement l’agence IVOX, qui restera un collectif jusqu’en 2014. Consciente des nouveaux enjeux des N.T.I.C. et d’Internet, elle y adapte la communication des artistes, labels et marques auprès des nouveaux médias (Ricard S.A. Live Music, Arte Concert, Studio Canal, éditions Rue Fromentin, Banksy, Noomiz, Marianne Faithfull, Blur, Benjamin Biolay, Radiohead, MUTE Records, Ariane Moffatt, EMI, Moriarty, V2 Music, OK Go, Sufjan Stevens, PVT, PIAS, Eiffel, Tricatel, Universal Jazz & Classics, AaRON, Naïve, etc), tout en gérant pendant trois ans (auteur, webmaster et community-manager) la plateforme de blogs 20six.fr.

Par ailleurs, elle gère le management délégué en Europe d’artistes internationaux, tels que Karkwa, Monogrenade, Les Breastfeeders, ou PVT ; le management de The Aerial, Steeple Remove, Laetitia Shériff, 3 Minutes Sur Mer, Bikinians, Landscape, Carp, Overhead, Fingerless ; le management image / RP de Yann Tiersen; la programmation des soirées IVOX à l’International, et la direction artistique en free-lance pour des captations sur Arte Concert, avec Neutra Productions.

A partir de 2012, elle se consacre à la communication et aux relations presse de festivals (Marsatac, Rockomotives, Les 3 Eléphants, et le Festival de Musique Emergente au Québec); dès 2014, elle se réoriente en solo dans la conception-rédaction de programmes courts avec Milgram («Mimopsis», «Le Pitch», «Avant / Après», «Minute Carrée» pour Arte Concert), de web TV pour des festivals (Marsatac, Les 3 Eléphants) et de contenus pour artistes (Monogrenade, La Frette Studios), ainsi que dans la direction artistique image & contenus, dans le cadre de refontes d’identité et stratégies de communication, pour des artistes (Loki Starfish – FR, Leyya – AT), salles de concert (Le Klub), et intervient dans des organismes de soutien & financement des artistes en voie de professionnalisation.

Dès 2016, elle ajoute à son parcours les RP des festivals Ferté Jazz, Ouest Park, et Papillons De Nuit, la rédaction de live-stories et d’articles pour ARTE Concert ou Stereolux et renforce ses collaborations audiovisuelles avec le réalisateur Xavier Reim (aftermovie festival Les Inrocks, films courts dans les festivals du réseau We Are Europe, documentaire Le Grand Bal au Grand Palais, teaser de TINALS…).

En 2018 et 2019, elle se consacre aux relations presse des festivals suivants : Papillons de Nuit (Normandie), This Is Not A Love Song (Nîmes), Reggae Sun Ska (Médoc), Couvre Feu (Pays de Loire), FME (Québec), Ouest Park (Le Havre), Levitation France (Angers), 24h non-stop (programmation musicale de La Nuit du Voyage à Nantes), Cabourg Mon Amour, Terres du Son (Touraine), V and B Fest’ (Mayenne), et Bisou (Angoulême).

L’année 2020 est dédiée aux relations presse des festivals B!SE (Nantes); Papillons de Nuit (Manche); VYV Festival (Dijon); Minuit Avant La Nuit (Amiens); Cabourg, Mon Amour (Calvados); Terres du Son (Tours); V and B Fest’ (Mayenne); Levitation France (Angers) et Ouest Park (Le Havre).

La pandémie fait que les années 2020 et 2021 sont dédiées à la co-création d’un syndicat d’attaché·e·s de presse indépendant·e·s, spécialisé·e·s en musique et culture (APRES), ainsi qu’à la reprise des activités du secteur, avec les relations presse des festivals Regard Neuf (Seine Saint-Denis), Europavox (Clermont-Ferrand et plusieurs villes européennes), Terres du Son (Tours), VYV Festival (Dijon), Les Pluies de Juillet (Normandie), Levitation France (Angers).

L’année 2022 est dédiée aux relations presse des festivals Levitation France (Angers), VYV Festival (Dijon), La Nuit De l’Erdre (près de Nantes), Europavox (Clermont-Ferrand et plusieurs villes européennes), Terres du Son (Tours), Cabaret Vert (Ardenne), et Ouest Park (Le Havre).

Long biography:

After studying art history and English literature and civilisation, Lara Orsal worked as a journalist and music and culture photojournalist for ten years (FemmeOnline, Nightlife, Rockmag, Rocksound, Rolling Stone, Rock & Folk, Velvet, Muze, Redux, Rock One, Rock You, Rock Touch, music columns in Voici, Gonzaï, Roadie Magazine).

In 2002, she also founded the IVOX agency, which remained a collective until 2014. Aware of the new challenges posed by NTIC and the Internet, she adapted the communications of artists, labels and brands to the new media (Ricard S.A.
